Name: Vincint
Age: 1
Gender: Mae
Race: Vampire
Appearance: A tall, gaunt young man, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds. His build is slim, with barely defined muscles and fair skin, if a bit dry. He hasshoulder-lenth brown hair, hanging down is strggly spiky strands, and usually covers the majority of his face. His large ees are a lght, icy blue, filled with spite, rage, and sorrow all at he same time. His face usuallyrvals his emotions, and is quic to twist into a face of pure contmptwhen the ampiric necromancer is vexed. Vincentlooks down on almost evrything in his path, his glare skimmig down his slightl pointed nose and past his thin lips, cutting int whoever and whatever he may be looking at like a knife. Vincent’s deft hands are adept at handling small and fragile objects, such as necromantic spell components, and much larger things, like his own faucard. He is usually dressed in a white shirt with sleeves that cut off slightly above the elbow, with a thin, brown, long-sleeved shirt over it, with buttons running down the middle. On top of it all is a large black trechcoat, giving him an almost business-like air. If he were to pull back the sleeves of his coat, however, it would reveal a golden wristband on each hand, souvenirs from his early life. Vincent wears cloth pants as wel, except with hard leather guards on his shins. On his feet are somewhat fancily designed shoes, brown with green tied into certain parts of the shoe, and red flame-like design on the sides. All in all, Vincent would only sligtly stand out in a large crowd, if observed b a keen eye. Not exactly a strange-looking person, but not yet “normal.”
Personality: Vicent is extremely impatient, with a constant need to rush everything and get things done asfast as possible. Often, instead of trying to find the hidden ey to a door, he will simply break it down. The first options that he tries are the destructive ones that, instead of solving the problem, just completely annihilate what caused it in the first place. Vincent is, however, not a complete fool. He can tell when something isn’t going to be solved the easy way, and will usually try and figure out how to fix it the conventional way. He has little tolerance for foolishness, stupidity, and ignorance, but sometimes makes the same mistakes and does some of the same things he loathes seeing other people do. This is probably one of the reasons he doesn’t like being around people in general. Vincent sees them all as idiots, completely unaware of the things that go on around them that aren’t obvious at first sight. Vincent will completely ignore most of the people around him, disregarding anyone that doesn’t have something to say that pertains to him in some important way. That might also explain his lack of friends and trusted allies… The exception to this is, of course, insults and jibes. He is very short-tempered, and is quick to rise to practically anything negative about him. Vincent is usually in a generally bad mood, almost depressed, and is constantly cynical and pessimistic wherever he goes.
Weapons:
Revindicare Nekros - Vincent’s favorite weapon, his fauchard. The weapon itself is a polearm, so naturally, the main part of the weapon is the 6 foot 5 inch tall pole that is the handle. Near the top of the pole is a thick steel ring with two rectangular juts at the top, facing each other. The juts end several inches below the top of the pole. Attaching the ring to the pole are four screws, two adjacent to the juts, and two through the protrusions themselves. Melded into the top of prior mentioned juts is another ring, a slightly larger one with a more complex design. It is actually four different rings forged into one. The first of the rings is placed directly above the bottom ring, heated and melted straight into the steel of the juts. Another ring is placed above the place where the thin line between the juts and the first ring would have been. This ring, however, is slightly folded into a shape similar to _|¯, so that it bends into the blank areas created by the juts. The third ring is above the first of the four rings. The third is twice as long as and a little bit thicker than ring directly below it. On the third steel ring, directly across from each other, are two metal spikes. The spikes are several inches adjacent to the area where the juts are, and are mark the end of the original pole. Twin screws are also drilled into the sides of the third ring, following the cross-like pattern of the design. The last and final ring, forged into the top of the third, is actually more like a cup then a ring. At the bottom of the ring is a single thin spike, forced into the wood to support the ring. The middle part of the ring reaches up, with an intricate design engraved into the sides, and ends with a thin ring that is melted into the final piece of the weapon. The inside of the ring is blank with the exception of the bottom layer, and has the small parts that will connect into the custom-made fauchard blade to make the melding much easier. Finally, tipping the weapon and making it a full 7 feet and 6 inch polearm, is the main weapon. The bottom of the blade is a thick cylindrical shape, and fits into the fourth ring, while cutting off where the ring ends, and thinning out to become the serrated, single-edged blade. The fauchard blade is slightly longer than the average dagger, and has a small but obvious curve. On the non-sharpened edge, there is a large serration half-way down the blade, but serves only as a decoration… For those with simple minds.
The blade is an enchanted weapon. Vincent had “retrieved” it after his change, mainly for the magic that lingers within it. The weapon was built specifically for necromantic purposes, specializing in helping the wielder create and manipulate the dark magic used in summoning the dead, and using the very essence of death. The name of the fauchard, Revindicare Nekros, translates into human as “Revenge Of The Dead.” The magic of the weapon draws “dark” energy to itself, the power of death, capturing for use in spells, like a long-term power source. The weapon is just as good at expelling energy as it is at gathering it, and is adept at doing the most crucial part of necromantic summoning: dragging the bodies of the dead from other dimensions and planes into this dimension and plane, creating a temporary hole within or just completely bypassing the dimensional barrier. Very effective in any hands, if used correctly. A certain danger posed, however, is the fauchard’s seeming reluctance to change masters, typical of most enchanted weapons. The fauchard also has a ritualistic past. It was supposedly cleansed by the blood of a dying necromancer after the metal had cooled and the wood polished, as the necromancer’s last wish… To leave behind some trace of his own power. This is unconfirmed and whether or not this had actually happened will probably stay a mystery for quite a while. The magic of the weapon isn’t actually apparent at first sight, but it can easily be distinguished as a powerful artifact by one whose eyes can see magic, or by one who sees the weapon in action. The one obvious enchantment is its ability to dematerialize and materialize whenever it is or is not needed by its master.
Techniques:
Necromancy – The art of summoning the dead and manipulating the essence of death through the use of dark magic. Necromancy can vary from simply summoning undead and not-so-dead creatures, ranging from small rat corpses to full-scale hellhounds, to pulling the very life out of a dying creature to preserve your own health… Whether or not its death was magically inflicted on it by you or not. This doesn’t need much explaining. Only when it is described in action can it be fully understood for what it is.
Vampiric Abilities – Since he is, after all, a vampire, Vincent has all the abilities a young vampire would have. The “curse” has only been on him for two years, and he is by no means a “seasoned vampire.” Despite that fact, his physical abilities are several times better than they used to be. Vincent’s speed has multiplied several times, allowing him to move quickly enough to pass notice, flicking away amongst a large crowd like a shadow. He is not, however, impossible to see. A trained eye can spot him in a crowd, if that person were to know what they were searching for. Still, Vincent is unnaturally stealthy, but not much on a vampiric scale. He had also gained amazing strength, although it wasn’t accompanied by muscle mass, and can lift material objects several times his weight, throwing it like a small dagger straight into an opponent’s soon-to-be smashed face, in most situations. Again, though it may be strange and peculiar to most races, it can be matched by another powerful warrior and is small on a vampiric scale. All of Vincent’s magical skill had immediately become useless except for black magic the moment the curse had set in, as expected. Many other of Vincent’s attributes can be related to his vampirism, such as the fluctuating time perception, slowing and quickening depending on the situation. One can never truly name all of a vampire’s abilities, since much of them change from vampire to vampire. Just watch, and see. After all, a creative mind can twist what you have into something new.
